Chilton, United States: In a classic case of sex game gone awry, a 37-year-old man found his penis stubbornly stuck to his stomach against his own wishes. The woman, Therese Ziemann, who had gone with him to a motel applied superglue to his manhood in order to accomplish the sticky job. After examining a velvet Elvis painting in the Smithsonian, Langdon infers the King was a member of Skull and Bones and was assassinated by means of prescription drugs. Finally, Harry Potter dies!

New Delhi, India: A man has sought permission from a Punjab state court to sell his kidney in order to pay his monthly alimony of $166 to his estranged wife. He draws a monthly income of just $75. This bizarre case has spurred husbands to cry out to the judiciary for a reasonable alimony proportionate to a husband’s income. They are outraged that an empowered woman who is a working and well-qualified wife should have any right to claim maintenance payments. The Save India Family Foundation has issued a statement that the courts should not force an unemployed man to pay maintenance and that there are cases where husbands are forced to sell their organs or told to beg, borrow, steal to pay maintenance to their wives.

The 99 Cents Only Stores chain is picking up the tab for nine couples at its branch in Hollywood to mark the ninth day of the ninth month in 2009. After getting hitched, the couples will be handed 99 dollars and 99 cents in cash before being whisked off to an undisclosed “famous romantic Los Angeles” location.
